Perstorp increases prices for TMP and Neo

Specialty chemicals company Perstorp will increase prices for TMP and Neo effective January 1st 2010 or as existing contracts permit.

Effective January 1st, 2010 or as existing contracts permit Perstorp will increase the price for  Trimethylolpropane (TMP) by EUR 30/MT in Europe, 5 c/lb in North America and USD 150/MT on other markets. Neopentyl Glycol (Neo) will increase by EUR 30/MT in Europe, 5 c/lb in North America and USD 150/MT on other markets.

Prices are being increased due to higher cost of operation related to mainly raw materials.
