Our presence at the world’s largest coatings show, CHINACOAT 2009, in Shanghai last month generated an overwhelming response from our existing and potential coatings industry customers and the press. Over the course of the three-day event, we met with over 300 registered visitors in our stand, held over 30 planned customer meetings, and hosted a customer event with over 170 attending. And our press releases and press meetings generated extensive coverage in business and trade media.

Our main focus at CHINACOAT 2009 was to communicate our Winning formulas for polyurethanes for existing and potential customers and the press. At our stand, we presented our offers for UV coatings, PUD resins, waterborne polyurethane coatings, polyesters and alkyds, 1K and 2K polyurethane coatings and polyurethane leather finishing. We also took the ideal opportunity to present our new Business Group Asia and discuss how it will benefit our customers in Asia.

All material and communication at the exhibition was presented in both Chinese and English, to better serve the Asian customers. An Exhibition News publication was produced especially for the show.

The success of our participation in CHINACOAT 2009 strengthens our position as a key supplier for polyurethanes and our position in Asia, particularly in China. We were among the 760 exhibitors that welcomed over 24,000 visitors to CHINACOAT 2009.
