Perstorp represented on the European Biodiesel Board

Perstorp BU Manager Perstorp BioProducts, Tomas Hagström, has been elected to the Executive Board of the European Biodiesel Board, the industry’s organization for European Biodiesel Producers.

The European Biodiesel Board (EBB) is the industry organization for Biodiesel manufacturers in Europe. The organization, based in Brussels, is a non-profit organization that aims at promoting the use of biodiesel in the European Union, at the same time, grouping the major EU biodiesel producers.

“EBB represents its members to the institutions of the European Union and other international organizations. They also promote research activities and collect and disseminate information relevant to the industry. Furthermore, EBB plays an important role by studying problems confronted by the biodiesel industry and suggests solutions at economic, political, legal, institutional and technical levels”, Tomas Hagström explains. “This is an excellent opportunity for Perstorp BioProducts to contribute to the development of the European Biodiesel industry”.
