Perstorp increases prices for TMP and Neo
Leading specialty chemicals company Perstorp increases prices TMP and Neo effective July 1st, 2009, or as existing contracts permit.
Effective July 1st, 2009 or as existing contracts permit Perstorp will increase the price for Trimethylolpropane (TMP) by EUR 100/MT in Europe, 7 c/lb in North America and USD 150/MT in all other markets. Price for Neopentyl Glycol (Neo) will increase by EUR 100/MT in Europe, 5 c/lb in North America and USD 150/MT on all other markets.
Prices are being increased due to elevated operating costs mainly related to raw materials.
