Crowded stand at UTECH
The goal was to present Perstorp’s new strong portfolio for the polyurethane industry. The hopes were high. And the results? They exceeded expectations.
– We actually had more visitors at our stand than we dared to expect, says a happy Bo Häggman, Director Market Development, and continues:
– And they showed interest in all our products, not only the bestsellers, which was exactly what we hoped for.
Positive response
220 people and several journalists showed up to learn more about Perstorp’s offer. The visitors came from 38 different countries. Mostly from Europe, but also Africa, Middle East, Asia, North and South America.
– It proves that Perstorp is now considered an interesting partner in the polyurethane foam and elastomer industry, Bo Häggman says.
Leading supplier
As expected, most of the visitors were interested in TDI and Capa® – both essential urethane raw materials – but the specialty polyols got their share as well. In fact, the interest was more evenly distributed than expected, and the response in general very positive.
After all, Perstorp is today a leading supplier of aromathic and aliphatic isocyanates, polyisocyanates, polycaprolactones and specialty polyols.
The UTECH exhibition for the polyurethane foam and elastomer industry took place from March 31 to April 2 in Maastric.
