As the Group has developed several new products, begun activities within bio-based chemicals and completed several international acquisitions the net sales have almost doubled over the past two years. The operating profit before depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) strengthened and reached SEK 925 m (679). The improvement was due to both acquisitions and organic growth, and was achieved despite problems posed by weaker US dollar and rising prices for raw material and energy.
