Perstorp increases prices on carboxylic acids

Specialty chemicals company, Perstorp, announces price increase on carboxylic acids and formates effective July 1st, 2008, or as existing contracts permit.

Prices are increased for the following products;

2-Ethylhexanoic Acid     
Europé  EUR  70/MT
Export   USD 200/MT
  
Propionic Acid
Europé  EUR 90/MT
Export  USD 150/MT

Formic Acid
Europe  EUR 60/MT
                       

Price increases are driven by high demand and increases on raw materials.
