Perstorp increases prices on carboxylic acids and formates

Specialty chemicals company, Perstorp, announces price increase on carboxylic acids and formates effective January 1st, 2008, or as existing contracts permit.

Prices are increased for the following products;

 2-Ethylhexanoic Acid  EUR 80/MT  USD 120/MT
 Propionic Acid  EUR 50/MT  USD 100/MT
 Formic Acid   EUR 120/MT    
 Sodium Formate   EUR 30/MT  USD 60/MT

Price increases are driven by high demand and increases on raw materials.
