Perstorp increases prices on polyols

Effective immediately or as existing contracts permit specialty chemicals company Perstorp will due to extraordinary raw material increases not foreseen a few weeks ago increase its prices for polyols in addition to the previously announced increase of September 19th.

Perstorp will make an additional price increase for Pentaerythritol (Penta) of EUR 135/MT in Europe, 8 c/lb in the Americas and USD 175/MT in all other markets; Trimethylolpropane (TMP) by EUR 80/MT in Europe, 4 c/lb in North America and USD 100/MT in all other markets. Neopentyl Glycol (Neo) will increase an additional EUR 60/MT in Europe, 5 c/lb in North America and USD 80/MT on all other markets.

On specialty polyols Perstorp will make the following additional price increases due to the raw material situation:
