During 2006 net sales increased by 15% to SEK 7,273 m (6,299)1) as a result of price increases and volume growth. Operating earnings before depreciation, EBITDA, amounted to SEK 1,091 m (1,156).

Adjusted for non-recurring items, EBITDA increased to SEK 1,097 m (1,079). Increasing raw-material prices had a negative impact on margins, as did the weakening of the USD and some production ineffi ciency in the beginning of the year. This was offset by volume growth and high cost awareness.
