Expansion of offer to UK and Ireland
We are pleased to announce the selection of Lawrence Industries as authorized distributor of key specialty chemicals for the polyurethanes market in the UK and Ireland.
Effective September 1st, 2006, Lawrence Industries will be able to offer formulators of elastomers and foams in the UK and Ireland the versatile intermediates from Perstorp that help meet the increasing demands for safer, lighter, more durable and environmentally friendly end-user products.
The initial products in question include specialty low molecular weight cross-linkers, polyether polyols and hyperbranched polyester polyols. These essential elements are typically used for improving the performance of the polyurethane foams and elastomers.
The range made available will also include the specialty chain extender BEPD (2-butyl, 2-ethyl propanediol) valued for its outstanding hydrolytic resistance and improved clarity in elastomers when compared to alternative products.
