Perstorp increases prices
Prices are being increased for a number of products due to higher cost of operation mainly related to raw materials, energy and logistics.
Effective June 1st, 2006 or as existing contracts permit Perstorp will increase the price for Pentaerythritol (Penta) by EUR 180/MT in Europe and USD 220/MT in Latin America, Asia, Middle East and Africa, Trimethylolpropane (TMP) by EUR 50/MT in Europe and USD 100/MT in Latin America, Asia, Middle East and Africa. Neopentyl Glycol (Neo) will increase by EUR 130/MT in Europe, 7c/lb in North America and USD 150/MT on all other markets.
The price for NX 795 ester alcohol will increase by EUR 70/MT in Europe, 3c/lb in North America and USD 100/MT on all other markets.
Furthermore Perstorp will increase the prices on Carboxylic acids.
2-Ethylhexanoic acid (2-EHA) by EUR 70/MT in Europe and by USD 110/MT on all other markets. Propionic Acid by EUR 60/MT in Europe and by USD 80/MT on all other markets. Formic Acid by EUR 40/MT in Europe.
