January 12, 2005 Partnership signed with Interlink
Interlink will take over the finished-goods flow of chemical products and internal transport functions at Site Perstorp.
“The agreement also stipulates that Interlink will assume responsibility for internal transport functions at Site Perstorp through outsourcing. This means Interlink also assumes staff responsibility for all employees within the transport function,” says Johan Bruck, Logistics Director. “Interlink is a partner we can grow with over the long term in respect to logistics and service. I look forward to a successful partnership.”
Interlink already operates in the village of Perstorp and has partnerships with many major enterprises in the area. Lars Tydinger will head up Interlink’s operations at Site Perstorp.
Interlink is part of a logistics and transport group that also consists of BM Transport and Logistics Development. The group has about 100 employees and annual sales of about SEK 200 million.
Business activities are conducted in the south of Sweden, providing about 50,000 m2 of indoor storage space and a fleet of about 80 vehicles.
The partnership agreement between Perstorp and Interlink will take effect from 1 February 2005.
