YLA has for the second year in a row earned the NGST Gold Supplier Award.
 YLA is honored to announce that for the second year in a row, we have earned the Northrop Grumman Space Technology (NGST) Gold Supplier Award. YLA was only one of seven NGST suppliers and the only advanced composite material provider to win this prestigious award. Selection is based on quality and schedule for deliveries, quality of supplier internal processes, and customer satisfaction within NGST.
To attain Gold Level a supplier must achieve a quality rating of at least 98%, realize on-time deliveries at better than 95%, excel during rigorous systems audits, and surpass expectations in several technical and systems areas as measured by a customer satisfaction report card within NGST.
The award was presented at NGST on Suppliers' Recognition Day, 21 January 2004. NGST is a leading developer and manufacturer of military and civilian space systems, satellite payloads, and advanced technologies from high-power lasers to high-performance electronics.
