Perstorp is looking for a Market Development Manager to find opportunities with new and commercial products at existing and new customer accounts. Main focus is to accelerate sales of Perstorp products through technical sales promotion.

The position is located at the Perstorp sales office in Toledo, Ohio and will require extensive travelling in USA, Canada and Mexico and possibly in South America.

Areas of Responsibilities:
- Regional market development responsibility for Coating Resin markets in the NAFTA region
- Promotion of commercial and development products at existing customers within main market segments
- Identifying and promoting commercial and development products at new customers within market segments
- Identifying and promoting commercial and development products at new customers outside current market segments
- Preparing and executing product launches of modified products/applications within our main market segments together with Product- and Sales Managers
- Identify new potential products/opportunities, which are handed over to business development
- Help increase the general awareness of Perstorp through participation in trade shows, exhibitions, conferences etc.
- Customer and market analysis to better position Perstorp in existing and new market segments
- Ordering of short term development tasks to R&D to give regional support to customers
- Ordering of advertisement/communication support for the local markets

Qualification Requirements:
- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry/Polymer Science/Material Science is preferable
- Technical Marketing experience, preferable from Polymer & Coatings applications
- Experience from polyesters, UV-curing and waterborne PU-applications is meriting
- Experience in product development
- Commercial interest and attitude
- Good communication skills, team player
- Ability to build- and develop client relations
- High energy and drive, result oriented
- Excellent client presentation skills
