Perstorp is committed to meeting the legal obligations of REACH, as a manufacturer, importer as well as a downstream user. Read here about how REACH affects the daily work at Perstorp.
REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals) is a European Union legislation that addresses the production and use of chemical substances, and their potential impact on human health and the environment. All companies producing or importing chemical substances into the EU > 1 ton/year are required to register their substances. Perstorp is committed to meeting the legal obligations of REACH, as a manufacturer, importer as well as a downstream user.
Full registration requires gathering data on physiochemical, toxicological and ecotoxicological properties of substances as well as specifying individual identified uses and assessments of the associated risks and safety measures connected to these uses
The most of Perstorp Products were registered before the 30 November 2010. The next deadline is 31 May 2013 for 100-1000 tonnes/year.
