The European Parliament has approved REACH, which is one of the most important pieces of chemical legislation ever implemented in the European Union.
REACH means that it’s the company producing or importing a chemical to the EU that is responsible for checking and documenting any risk involved with the compound. This responsibility also includes relaying the information to customers, which we do via our safety data sheet.
Perstorp has successfully pre-registered our products and substances to ensure our compliance with the new regulation and are now facing the work with registration.
Our work with the new regulation allows safeguard supplies to our customers as we do not foresee any obstacles in registering all our products. To facilitate this registration procedure, we will continue to work with our customers on gathering information regarding specific usage and applications in which products are used.
You can find the pre-registration numbers and registration numbers below.
