Site Vapi

Location: Vapi, India
Main products: Basic & specialty polyols, formate, formaldehyde, creosote

Vapi is located 170 km north of Mumbai on 82 acres of land. The site has very good infrastructure. Perstorp acquired the almost 40-year-old operation in 1998. 

Vapi site established in 1964; commissioned since July 1967 and mainly produces the Pentaerythritol. Site Vapi also produces the allied intermediate products like Formaldehyde, Formic acid and sodium Formate. 

In 2006, the production of Creosote was started and in the following year also production of Di-Pentaerythritol and DMBA (Dimethylolbutanoic Acid).
